After the official
announcement that the Mayweather-Pacquiao is finally going to happen,
I'm sure a lot of people wants to have a glimpse of what's going on with
their favorite boxing icons. There is now a chance to be updated first
hand from the boxers themselves which is going to be their kickoff press
conference in Las Vegas on March 11. This is the only time the boxers
will be meeting face-to-face after the big announcement and to promote
their upcoming mega fight as well to their fans even if it is already
broadcast worldwide.
Though the said press conference will will
not be open to public since only the media is invited, the media must
apply for credentials to qualify. I believe this is just a precaution
since it is expected to draw a big crowd expecting that a lot of media
personnel wanted to have first-hand updates from the boxers themselves.
The location of the said event is undisclosed as of the moment but
surely it will be held in Los Angeles as what the organizers announced
on Monday.
Pacquiao had arrived in the United States to start his
training last Saturday night with his trainer's assistant coach since
his trainer, Freddie Roach, is still in Macau attending another boxer
for his flyweight world title while Mayweather is in his gym in Las
Vegas.
